photoBrent Mosses is the owner and operator of Accelerate Personal Fitness Training. He has a diploma in personal fitness training from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT). Brent is also a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) under the governing body of the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP).Brent grew up in Penticton, and since a young age, has been actively involved in fitness. He has played hockey since the age of seven, playing in the Penticton Minor Hockey Association, and then going on to play two years of junior hockey in the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League. He also has a passion for baseball, where he grew up playing in the Penticton Minor Baseball Association and then went on to play in the British Columbia Premier Baseball League. Brent has also participated in many other sports at a non competitive level. Whether playing to win or playing for fun, he has always been very active, which he attributes to his career path of personal fitness training.

Brent wants to help people get fit, maintain and improve their fitness goals, and live a happier and healthier life. Brent’s philosophy on fitness is very simple. You get out of it what you put into it. Living a healthy and active lifestyle can be difficult but at the same time it can be very rewarding. Brent takes an enthusiastic approach to personal training and strongly believes that with proper nutrition and a well designed exercise program anything is possible.

  • Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT).
  • Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP).
  • Competition Stream Olympic Weightlifting Coach (Level 1) through the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP). – In Progress
  • Indoor Cycle Certification through the Alberta Fitness Leadership Certification Association (AFLCA).
  • Athletic First Aid through the Sports Medicine Council of Alberta (SMCA)
  • Health Care Provider (C) through the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
